Roy Brown is a native Texan who has spent the last four decades buying, building, managing, and selling companies across Central Texas. From commercial ventures to ground-up operations, Roy has been in the trenches of Texas business for over 40 years — and through every chapter, one thing has always pulled him back: construction.
It's the work that runs in his blood. No matter what enterprise he's taken on, Roy has always kept a construction company close ー because nothing matches the satisfaction of turning raw steel and open land into something that stands for generations. Building isn't just what he does. It's what he keeps coming back to.
Starting on his own property near Georgetown, he designed and built a barndominium the way he believed it should be done: quality steel, practical layout, and built to stand up to Texas weather and time. Neighbors took notice. Friends began asking for help. Signature Steel Structures was born out of that demand ー to serve property owners who want a structure done right the first time. Not rushed. Not outsourced. Not handed off to a revolving crew.

Today Roy Brown personally oversees every project from the Georgetown, Texas headquarters. He stays involved from planning through final walkthrough, holding every build to the same standard he expects on his own land.
